Once again we are on our way to the Yuma area of Arizona. We had our fist major breakdown in our travels south, this is our 9th trip to AZ. We were registering at the Fairgrounds RV Park near beautiful Prescott Valley in north central AZ when I noticed a large puddle of transmission oil under our 2009 F350 dually. Long story short a local shop replaced a cracked Torque Converter with a new and improved one, changed front seal and filter on the transmission and replaced all oil in TC and tranny and all for under $1500.00 If anyone ever has any vehicle problems in this area I highly recommend PV Diesel and Auto Repair in Prescott Valley for their fast corteous and professional service. By the way do NOT rent a car at the Sears Avis/Budget total cost $195.00 for 4 days, about 125 miles. We will be continuing further south Thursday Oct. 30, enjoying our time with a niece and their family here in Prescott Valley. A GREAT winter to all.
