Flashy Profile

Is this a new contest no one told me about?

Yep, there is a profile contest I started.. Try to make the best one. Don't know who's judging though…

Speaking of profiles, your pic didn't work, what is it anyways? I'm currently working on mine.

Feb 18, the due date

darn.. I dont know why.. Ill try to fix…

hey mmmbeer, did u try host the image on geocites? b/c when i did to one of my images it didnt work either, try a differnt we site deal. maxpages.com i think it is, is pretty good. freewebsites.com- the uploader doesnt work that well, and freeservers.com is pretty good

I read somewhere that one shouldn't link their images to a public site (although I have, I'm taking my chances) just in case that site goes down. Use Notepad instead.

Don't use Freeservers. Or else the image will rarely work. Just a big sign saying that the image can't be uploaded, so upgrade your account.

I just put mine on my website. Does that work?

If your ISP is through Sympatico, you get 5 MB to play with.

I don't know. Was it from Freeservers?

Cool Pooga………..

My web page is hosted for 5 bucks a month and I get 50 megs. Cool hey. Havent used all that yet though. I was hoping to work on it more.. But dang it, I had to go and buy a house in December and spend the entire holidays packing… bleah.

Yep I used geocities.. Sometimes the pic shows, other times it isnt there.. Wierd. I want to buy a domain name, but can't find a good cheap one.

Go to www.dot.tk. You get a free email, with a small ending thing.

been there, Isn't it just a reffering deal?

What do you mean?

type in your original page (ex: www.geocities.com/ergrtg/ergtrewg.wergeg) than the shorter domain you want, (ex: www.ex.tk).. www.ex.tk will send you to www.geocities.com/ergrtg/ergtrewg.wergeg..

Can you build a site there?

Sort of, I think.

www.dseffects.com …really neat stuff!

(the javascript I intended here didn't work, maybe next time)
