Wasn't sure to put this here or in General…

A man was found dead in the desert. Near him was a package. If he had opened the package, he would not have died. What was in the package???

Welp… imho, this could be read a few ways, and many answers came to mind, but after thinking about it carefully, my best guess would be a parachute.

I did a search on that riddle and there have been universities studies on it.
