Since dr reworked the monthly counts I looked up the winners for last year.

I'm not sure what the rule was for the bragger (if going over disqualified or not) so you can argue amongst yourselves.

Looking through the forum I also found a contest that BDKINGSTON proposed for hits in 2003. He said the prize would be announced at a later date and the winner would be declared in March. Rules were closest without going over.

The total for 2003 was 22,954 hits. The closest without going over was 22,222 by BDKINGSTON.

Thanks for the idea on the prize kayfbee but I can't declare a winner until March 31, but it does look like it's mine as I stated in the rules, "closest to the correct number and in the event of a tie without going over." Hopefully I can put in the order for the t-shirt at our Jan 25 gathering..
