advertising on site / adware on computer I am using

I don't know for sure wheather it is the computer I am using or this web site. I have a tendency to believe it is the computer I am using.
As I was reading the forums, I noticed several key words send me to various links.
Serial Number when I did a search for the feg16***45 bill was highlighted & sent me to an ebay web page.
Eagle Eye was highlighted also sent me an ebay page.
Cell phone both in my message & DR's is highlighted & sent me to At&t's web page.
As I believe DR wants to keep this web page advertisment free I was confounded to see this happening.
I didn't realize ad ware & spy ware got this deep.
I honestly don't like it & would like our government to bann adware & spy ware. However it would take more than the CDN government to bann it to reduce it's workings.

Ya, it's nothing to do with this site. Someone has downloaded something on that computer that has overwritten one or more of the shared library files (DLLs) which handle the displaying of web pages within IE.
