article in Vue Weekly

Here's an article in Edmonton's Vuew Weekly about money tracking and our site.

Oh, and Greg, I'll take at least a case o' beer for making you famous (again).

Nice article, although I am not sure I would refer to it as a game, a hobby perhaps, but not a game…

Greg, cough up the beer for dr… :o)

my well travelled bill hit the news!!- I keep hoping its still out there and will get hit again!!

Awesome article….It's not a game nor a hobby but an obsession..

Cool article, how did they find the site?

(kisses)

great article…. hehe definitly an obsession bdk… lol

I'll take at least a case o' beer for making you famous (again).

Gonna have room for it on your teeny weeny plane????

Really don't need the help though, as long as I can do a weather forecast or two!

That's a cool article, but it made me kind of feel bad about stamping the money. Just for a minute though. I'm over it now!

One thing, and maybe some of the SK folk out there can corroborate this. The article talks about the "gnome" thing as though it is an urban myth. I distinctly remember CBC radio one in SK interviewing a lady from a small town (the name escapes me) who had her gnome stolen several years ago and has received many pictures of the little guy from all over the world. Anyone else remember that? It's not a myth, folks! And I think it's one of the funniest things I've ever heard of!!

It wasn't a gnome, it was a nutcracker by the name of Pepe, and it has travelled the world. I remember the lady's name being Joan Robertson (!!!), but I can't remember where or when I saw the story.

Heh, there's always room in the plane for beer; I'll make Princess take the bus home before I leave beer sitting on the tarmac. :)

Excellent article. Very comprehensive. I loved the comment about money tracking being the national sport of Saskatchewan!

I'm sorry, but I was under the impression that Jake the Drifter was FEMALE!….Am I not right? The article refers to Jake as HIS!…Otherwise a very impressive report!

wow well the day may come when we can no longer stamp the bills and then we will be entering stealth hits all over the place………great article

I'm a she. The name confuses a lot of people!

Thanks for pointing this post out in the "General" thread section dr, otherwise I wouldn't have come across it. Looks like I should subscribe to it :)

That is a neat article. I hope that lots of people will read it and really look at their bills (and enter them). Did you notice more new members then usually after that article ?

Hey, who says this is a game… I would call it an obsession
