During a visit to the mental asylum, a visitor asked the Director which is the criteria that defines a patient to be institutionalized. "Well," said the Director, "we fill up a bathtub, we offer a teaspoon, a teacup, and a bucket to the patient and ask the patient to empty the bathtub."
Okay, here's your test:
- Would you use the spoon?
- Would you use the teacup?
- Would you use the bucket?
"Oh, I understand," said the visitor.
"A normal person would choose the bucket as it is larger than the spoon." So what did the doctor say?
"No," answered the Director. "A normal person would pull the plug."
So how did YOU do?
Reminds me of this one:
A man decides to give his wife a special treat and buys 20 bottles of expensive wine so his wife can have her wish of bathing in champagne. He carefully pours all 20 bottles into the tub and sets out candles so his wife can enjoy her bath. But being rather cheap as soon as she got out of the tub he carefully started to refill each wine bottle with the wine from the tub using a funnel. He wasn't letting that wine go to waste - all went well until the 20'th bottle when he carefully filled it to the rim but still had 2 cups of wine left - Where did 2 extra cups come from?????
