I'm a relatively poor man, and I've never seen any bill higher than 100. Does anyone know what the denominations are after 100? One time I was going to go to the bank and withdraw a 1000 dollar bill, but then I figured I'd probably just lose it or it would get stolen. They probably wouldn't have given me one anyway. Tell me who's on the bills, the color, and what they look like if you know. Just curious. If anyone has bills higher than 100, send one to me. I've always wanted one.

I'm poor to and if I did get a 1K I'd take it to the bank and get a bundle of fives and just wear out my stamp!!!!
It's about marking and tracking

Unforturnately when the BofC still issued $1000 notes, you had to go to the bank, order one, then when you picked it up, they recorded the serial # and you had to sign it out.

Had one once, got it for a wedding gift.

Yeah. I remember buying a stereo system once and wanted to pay cash for it. The teller did everything she could to discourage me from taking out cash- 2 - $1000 bills and a few hundreds. I didn't have to sign for mine, but I did have to order them in advance. Was able to fanagle the price down a bit because I had cash on the spot.

if i had one i would deposit it in a bank to collect interest. or pay bills to prevent interest! no way would i keep it to sit and do nothing.
