Of all the Russian Princes, Czars/Tsars, and rulers, only 3 have been officialy titled with "the Great." Prince Ivan III, the last Prince of Russia, Czar/Tsar Peter I, and Emperess Catherine II, were all known as "the Great." If one of the ALexanders was known, unofficially, as "the Great", it would be Alexander I. Alexander II was assasinated for cruelty, and Alexander III tried to fix what Alexander II did. Alexander I fought against Napoleon.
I hope that this clears up everything, Mmmbeer.
..Where does the 'onion in the belt' fit in?
Alexander the Great (of Macedonia) conquered Greece, most of Asia Minor and was on the verge of taking his armies into India when he died, probably from alcohol poisoning…aka he drank himself to death in one big binge. This was when Rome was just a collection of huts on the Tiber.
The 'onion in the belt' was from the 'Simpsons' TV show. Granpa was ranting about something. :P
Actually, Alexander had conquered Greece, Egypt, Mesopotamia, the Persian Empire, Afghanistan, and parts of India. He was in Babylon when he died. His cause of death was never officialy known, but it was mostl likey from over drinking, multiple battle wounds, and extreme climate changes.
