Hey Pooga, I just heard on the news break that GW won a silver and bronze medal at the "Beer Olympics". Did you have a hand in that?

Of course, I brew them.
The awards (it's called the World Beer Cup, held every 2 years) were for our light beers, Brewhouse Light won a silver and Premium Light won the bronze (again). The winner was a specialty light beer from Miller.
Remember the Midwest Brewer's Festival? Started a few years ago here. Was a fun couple of nights, with awards in different categories for prairie brewers. Seems that Labatt's got upset because they never won any in 3 years. But they have the exclusive contract at the event venue. Result? Now the festival is only one evening, no awards, fewer participants, and for the last couple of years, even fewer visitors. Go figure.
Maybe Labatt's belongs in the wine (whine) business!
Pass the chesse to Interbrew!
Notably, a glass of spilled wine onto my keyboard is what fried my motherboard. I wonder if I should switch to beer?
With the variety of beer available, it's now possible to be a beer snob. At the Beer Cup, there were over 70 categories. Everything from lagers to lambics to chocolate to chili, beer comes in a multitude of varieties!
And a good place to start is to check out the winners at Beertown
Personally, I like the Fest of Ale the happens every year here in Penticton. Now that's a fun time. If you like beer, you'll like this…. MMMMMMMMMMMMm Beer.
