A "radar" note is one that the serial number reads the same frontwards and backwards. Eg….1234321 or 2244422. the prefix doesn't matter as long as the numbers read that way. These notes are collectible by a lot of our trackers so if you have not marked it yet, please do not do so, and someone may even pay a bonus for the note, depending on the condition.
So if I had a 5, somebody would pay more for it?
why?
It would depend on the condition of the note and the type of "radar" bill that it is.
Some people just like to collect bills with radars in 'em. Others collect solid 4444444 or low number 0000001. I think it's just the novelty of an unusual serial number. I remember wanting to find a bill with my birthday in it, until I realized I was never going to get that old…
