My daughter and I found a signed check with no name on it… called the lady that wrote it for her rent…. she called her landlord tellin him he lost it… she picked it up from me and was very happy about it… nice part was an unexpected reward… a free meal from her landlord at his restaurant and best of all a 10 dollar bill that I got to enter on here… heheheh just when I thought I wasn't gonna have any bills to enter

well it was nice to see that the lady was honest too… she coulda screwed her landlord out of that money by showing her reciept :)

It is awesome you found the writer of the check.
2 points I would like to point out.
1.
Finding a check that isn't filled in.
putting your name in & trying to cash it IS FRAUD.
( not that it would stop many people. )
2.
When paying rent by check, not many people get a receipt, as the check is usually just dropped into a drop box.
In the fact the landlord lost the check it is AWESOME that he treated you to lunch.
Karma is a wonderful thing, so I hope you are repaid many times.
