LEVELS!

I am curious as to how the system assigns levels.

I am currently at Senior Newbie, with 156 bills entered, 2 hits entered, $2,120 in value entered, 0 Hits, 18 msgs posted and a CMT score of 225.5974. I joined on August 8th and over the past few weeks have logged in and entered something every day.

Another user that I came across has less notes entered, 1 hit entered, less value entered, 0 hits,, 2 msgs posted, and a CMT score that is 4 points lower, and joined on August 30th. They are currently a Junior User.

I am not complaining just curious. Unfortunately I have become hooked on this site….. ;o)

The system automatically updates users levels every Saturday morning based on a set or rules/guidelines that I came up with. I no longer make any exceptions, so everyone moves up under the same conditions as everyone else. I'm pretty sure there are a couple of things that differentiate the two of you. Also, you can only ever move up one level at a time, no matter what.

So, for example, lets suppose that two users join at the same time, but one uses the site regularly for a month and the other does nothing. In week 5 the one user who did nothing in the beginning, starts using the site regularly and catches up. Even though they are now both pretty close in terms of entries, hits, etc…, the user who did nothing at the beginning will still only advance to Interested Newbie, even though the regular user may be as high as Junior User.

That all said, I would be very surprised if you don't move up tomorrow morning.

Makes perfect sense now that I know the system only updates levels on a Saturday. The more time I spend poking around and asking questions the more I learn.

Thanks much for the explanation. Now if I could only get my first "hit"……. :o)
