Lunch

Since I’m on the road this summer I thought I should try to meet our many esteemed colleagues from around the system. I didn’t meet any from the Brandon area (Magwer!), but I did have lunch today with Serotonin. We traded bills, but of course won't enter them as they wouldn't be legitimate hits.

Perhaps one of the most interesting aspects of the site is being able to meet people from various backgrounds, professions, geographic areas, and eras. (Serotonin claims to be the oldest user – there’s another stat for Pooga to investigate.) It is great to be able to put faces to names and handles. Thanks for lunch Seretonin, and I’ll get one back for you at the Officer’s Mess. I’m back from Trail late on the 21st of August.

OK…just a hint…he has more years than hits.

I feel close to seventy. My father (from Yorkton) is 99 years old and can still beat me at a game of pool. The way he is going, I figure I am about one-third of the way through my life's journey. If I start drinking a can of Pooga's beer " HoneyWheat" I might only be 1/4 of the way through.

By the way, when is lunch? Serotonin, How old are you really ? My dad is 84 and he can still kick my butt on the crib board when he gets the cards.
