Counterfeit Canadian one hundred dollar bills have turned up in a number of communities northeast of Saskatoon.
Over the last week several businesses in the Wakaw, Cudworth, Prud'Homme, Vonda and Rosthern areas have been victimized by accepting counterfeit one hundred dollar bills.
RCMP are warning business owners to be vigilant in checking the bills before accepting them.
Police say, so far, most the the bills have been identified by the banks when the business owners make a deposit.
If a counterfeit bill is accepted, it's the owner, who's out the money.
Police are not sure yet, how many of the bills have been passed.
