Nicknames

I was just wondering, as I was going through a list of users, where all these people get their nicknames from. . .some are really funny and some don't make sense. . .mine is very unoriginal. . .Mystik is my cat's name. . .

never mind me, I'm just in a funny mood.

Many people explain the origin of their nicknames on their user profile. Just go to the 'home' page and click on their name.

My nickname comes from the very first BBS that I signed on to. For all you young ones, they were just before the internet took off. I opperated one for a while, "Alcatraz". But anyway, the first BBS I signed on to was Clandestine Castle. The login screen came up, the text read, "The draw bridge lowers and the Black Knight comes out to meet you. What is your name?"
So, I have red hair, and wanted to incorporate that into the name, and the Black Knight was riding a horse, sooooooo, Red Rider was born. This before I knew there was band named that. For me, this was back in 1980. There you have it. Long winded, but there you go.

My nickname is derived from the champion ice breaker, Juice Banman. He's my hero. No one breaks ice like him. It's like he was born for it.

I like chasing storms. Hence STORMCHASER. My first car was an 1977 Chev Impala that my Grandfather gave to me for a Graduation gift. Also I started using the 77 after my name when I was introduced to the Web. A few people had STORMCHASER and numbers after there name. Hence the name STORMCHASER77.
