Over all Private Messages and Anonymous Emails are a good thing. I don't actually have a problem with them. Private messages & Anonymous Emails are for stuff that is NOT related to the site, NOT PERSONAL ATTACKS. If you CAN NOT say something in public, there is no need to say it. If you CAN NOT say something to someones face, there is no need to say it.
The problem I do have with using PM is that a user can attack someone, then attack another person, and another Etc. Etc. All of this happening without others knowing that 1 person or even a few people are attacking many people, possibly even causing them to leave the site.
Like many other people, I come to this site to relax & have fun. When person 1 attacks person 2 in private, person 2 may think I don't need this, & quit. I have no intention of quitting, but I do not need to be attacked in private either.
In disipline, problem I see with ignoring person 1s messages is that, person 1 can then start to say stuff about person 2 that is untrue, person 2 will not read it. then people will start to think "This must all be true if person 2 doesn't reply". I have a problem with person 1 smearing other people, Private or Public.
I am not a perfect person, and don't need anyone to think I am. However, I do put a fair bit of thought into almost everything I say. I try to remain respectful. Name calling is unnessessary. Even though I try to be respectful and Know name calling is unnessessary I do like to joke around.
There are many different ways to disipline someone.
Problem is who should do it. Dr has his hands full enuff without looking though more emails about who did what. Pooga, Rudy(the saint), Idjit, Jakethedrifter have all been here very long, but have all been in their own trouble as well.
A nice public system as I mentioned would be good. Any Person 2 who has been attacked can put an X in the box of Person 1, When Person 1 gets enuff X's beside their name they are to be punished.
Punishment to fit the crime. If you can't remain respectful In the forums you shouldn't bash someone in private. If you can't remain respectful then you should lose your rights to post in the forums for a period of time.
I don't think 1 month each time you are punished would serve a good punishment. Again this is where what I suggested in my other post a nice exponential system would work well.
1st time a slap on the rist, person may not learn their lesson. The next time .. a little more serious punishment. If they still don't learn their lesson. 3rd time becomes pretty serious.
If they don't learn by the 3rd time the 4th punishment should seem like life in prison.
On my 5th level starting with 1 month it would be 10 years, but why even bother with a 5th level, just out & out put the offender out of his misery.
I had added the part about putting the offender down to Newbie status, cause then the offender loses some of the aspect of the site. Tracking money. Some people entering 5 bills per day would think ahh whatever. To those who are on the top 10 bills entered almost on a weekly basis It would make them think.
I am not one of the ahh whatever people, but I am not in the top 10 bills entered list on a weekly basis either.
Please feel free to comment on my suggestions in this post. I am open minded and can take any critisim.

Note: I am willing to take the disipline in this post for the fight between BC & I as long as he is simularly punished. And I am willing to take punishment for when I upset J-Lynn over a year ago. I do NOT want to be attacked in Private by BC or anyone else again.
PSS. I have more PM's from BC being attacked with him saying WE ( BC & I ) need to clean up a mess. I clearly responded it wasn't my mess to clean up & told him why, to which he attacked me yet again. And said things that I don't want to repeat in public. However, I do plan on sending the named people a PM with the what BC said to me about them. Talking behind other peoples backs is something else I do not like.
