I dont usually have time to join in the chit chat, but I actually have time for'everything else' for the next week. Not sure hgow to reply to a message so I made the new one. Anyways, why id it not right to stamp a bill that is stamped with where's willy?
Common courtesy. If every money tracking site stamped the notes with their own stamp, pretty soon you wouldn't be able to see the note, just the stamps. It also deteriorates the condition of the note, shortening it's lifespan. You can enter the note on both sites, and put a comment in stating that it is entered at both sites, but don't stamp it again.
A note with 2 sites on it also makes people less likely to enter the note at either site…
As I have found out, it is good etiquitte to log the bill in both sites but do not stamp the bill with another site. People will check one site out to see what it is all about but if more than one site is on the bill it confuses people and they tend to ignore things if it looks complicated. For simplicitys sake and common courtesy we do not restamp bills.
