likely lots of talent here. If we had a retreat, gathering Pooga could bring the beer, Sarge could organize it to the precise GPS, I could bring the drugs, Idjit could supply the snacks, and DR could pay for the whole shot because he's the corporate executive. I don't know what others do on this site.

Pooga

Ah, ok, a distribution rep, not a brewery rep.

Has she tried any of my brands in Alberta?

Coop Gold
Bowes Double Dry and Special 7
Brewhouse Pilsner and Light
Great Western Premium Light

MmmBeer

COOP Gold i believe she has tried. But haven't heard of the rest though. Yaa, she goes into liquor stores and sells in the beer, also sets up promos and Gives samples occasionally

What's in a name? Calamaty Janet sounds like a party girl who likes husbands. MMBeer is self-explanatory.Angie/Angela sounds comfortable in many roles. Lusus likes natural Latin games.etc.

Actually, i dont really like Beer… I tastes pretty bad.. Plus, im under legal age, whick means i dont drink any, even if i could, i wouldn't.

It tastes pretty bad

Heh, I used to think like that when I was your age. Now, I'm a beer drinking machine. :)

favourite beers:

  • Canadian (I'm a sucker for marketing and 100+ ingredients)
  • Big Rock Grasshopper
  • any real IPA (India Pale Ale); ie. it has that bitter taste
  • Pilsner (it's not an Alberta party without Pil)… :)
  • anything brewed by a micro-brewery

least favourite beers:

  • Keith's (it's not a REAL IPA as far as I'm concerned)
  • Wild Rose Raspberry beer (yuck!)

less than a case of beer a year for me. I'll see if I can find any from POOGA. It seems he listed some a few days ago. Now, wine is another story.

Just you wait…I hated it too. Now by last my last count, I've made about 15 MILLION dozen, and gotten to sample a lot of it too! It's funny, SARGE was the one who liked beer when we were kids.

Plus, im under legal age, whick means i dont drink any

Legal age doesn't mean anything except public consumption. At home, under the supervision of a parent… I remember playing cards with SARGE and my parents when we were 10-12 year old and having alcohol. (the term 'found in' keeps popping into my head… any lawyers out there?)

And what kind of a handle is MMMBEER if you don't even like the stuff????

MmmBeer

Well i always use this name, on all sites trhat require a user name. It's a long story why i used this name.. Im not sure why anymore.. Hmmm, why, I like some beers i guess.. Ever try beck's beer or strongbow.. OOps thats a cider..

My handle - POOGA - I got it when I first started high school. It was a boarding school and a Ukrainian minor seminary.

It's an old Ukrainian slang for 'ogre'.

Hey DR, next time I know someone headed to Calgary, I send you a sample of my craft, THEN you'll know whay REAL beer is!

dr

then you'll know what REAL beer is!

Heh, I'm always prepared to accept free beer. Never tasted anything from your brewery. In fact, I've never even been to Saskatchewan. Thanks in advance for the offer!

Sarge

Never been to Saskatchewan? Not even Dundurn for your QL2? The last time LFWA had it there was in '96, so perhaps you took it at WATC, or took it in Garrison.

Everyone else…that's army secret code above. Your computer will blow up in ten seconds!

STAND BACK!!

96??? I'm 6A qualified. I think you'd be hard pressed to get 6A in under 5 years. :) No, I took my Basic Training in 1993 in Shilo, Manitoba with the Artillery. Fun stuff. Learned how to iron combats. Of course, I was way too cocky for my own good and refused (along with another guy from my unit) to turn in the black beret I'd been issued. So out of some 400+ recruits on base that summer, we were the only 2 who wore black berets. And as for doing courses in Garrison… no way! I have done no courses in Garrison aside from first aid, SBC, DDC and other such driver courses.

Cool. SARGE ran a course there in '95. Went to visit him one weekend. I remember they had a great little golf course.

I just didn't care to be woken up at 6 AM on a Sunday when the Germans decided to do a little target practice with those lovely tanks of theirs.

Sarge

As POOGA says, I was Crse O on a 2's crse there in '95. Us CSS people always have a good working relationship with the Guns and the Tankers, as they(you)tend to have a better appreciation of the importance of CSS to sustain you in the field better than the infantry. I know, as I'm ex-infantry myself.
