Scoring

Why is it that on your home page it shows one score - mine in currently 469.5295, but on the home page on the list of top users, it is always lower - currently 460…..?

The first time you log om for the day the scores will match. After you enter a bill there will be a difference. Thats just the way it works…

I beg to differ BD, mine have never matched since the new version came on. I even tried entering a bill after midnight. close to 2 actually and still no go. rather annoying I must say. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

The way it works is this: the top CMT score list is generated each night as it's an intense database query and is too hard on the CPU to generate each time the user wants to see it. The CMT score in your user box and on the view user page is generated each time and is up to date as of that very second.

As for the scores not matching, if you are going out of your way to make it match, well I can only suggest that your will never match doing that. I entered in 5 notes yesterday during the day. This morning when I logged in I was #15 on the top 10 list with a score of 797.0633, which is the exact same score shown in my user box and on my view user page.

In your case, mitraya, your score on the top 10 list is 460.3795 and your user info shows 466.5699. Why the difference? Because you have entered notes today (28-Jan) your user info score is different because it is calculated as of right now.

I will look into it as time permits, but in all honesty, it's not too high on my list.
