Looking at how many registered users are based in Sask. & the amount of bills they've entered, (asuming that they're all marked), are there any unmarked bills left in Sask.? If I should ever go on a trip through Sask. and spend some bills, almost all my paper change should be marked I would think.
Ha, last week I recieved 2 marked bills and both were Suzuki's. Before that it had been months since I'd seen a marked bill. It sure makes you appreciate how many bills are in circulation.
geez, samson, i hope this doesn't mean you're just ANOTHER out of provincer who thinks we have no money in saskatchewan!
No, not just another out of provincer who thinks people in Sask. have no money. An out of provincer who sees alot of bills entered in Sask. therefore all bills should be marked, creating a shortage of unmarked bills.
well, you gotta consider scale here. although the total amount of money entered on this site seems like a fortune (5 million) i am certain that that amount of cash routinely passes through a moderately sized safeway or even liquor store in a month or so. the fraction of stamped bills is a mere pittance compared to what is out there.
compare, as well, that the bank of canada estimates that there is over $6 million in counterfeit currency in circulation (2001) so if you think of it that way, you are more likely to get a phoney bill than a tracked one! (but never in saskatchewan! :) )
