stamped bills in saskatoon

a question for all of those in saskatoon…does most of your bills (besides the brand new ones of course) have stamps? it is after all the hit capital of canada, no? just curious…again!

Well, you'd think wouldn't ya? But, we've collectively only entered 45,909 bills. Our population is ~200,000, so you'd expect to see lots of marked bills, but you don't. I see maybe a couple a month, but they are becoming more frequent.

On the other hand, Quinton SK, population, um 5? is that about right HOGGS? Anyway, they (he) has entered 14,912 bills. So that would be the community I would expect to not have any unmarked bills.

It is getting better, though. Now I see someone's marked bill almost every other day or so, but then again, I see a LOT of bills. Maybe we could install those tiny nuclear powered GPS tracking devices on each bill so we could see what happens to Saskatoon money. I would expect to see a plume of cash going to Ottawa and Regina (taxes), but there would be some cash that would escape and have a real life going from to and from those that earned it.

really from all those bills I stamped you don't see to much around here. That is the problem in small towns the money doesn't stay in them.
