The Western Producer

Has anyone ever heard of a magazine or newspaper called "The Western Producer"? It's out of Saskatoon but it doesn't seem to hire those friendly Saskatchewan people that I know.

Here's an email I just received from someone with an email address there; love days where I get emails like this:

Boy, your site is poorly designed. I can't even find where I enter a bill's serial number that is already being tracked. Your site is so wordy it's impossible to read. I give up on tracking the note I received that has a stamp on it. I wonder how many other people have given up. Rob Perry

This person must be illiterate or something. I find this site very simple and easy to understand. Afterall that is why I'm here and not at WW. I find WW more confusing (not that I'm stupid or anything) and "wordy." Maybe Rob Perry should check out WW or WG and see if that is any easier for him……………2 cents.

This guy must be smart or think something like "add note" in the menu must mean something different than adding notes.
Only thing I find difficult is Rob Perry not understanding how to add bills.

too many inhalations of farm chemicals? I did not know that that paper was still alive. I am selling the last grain elevator coin bank with their logo on it. had a dozen of them. I honestly don't see how it could be any easier. hmm I should get my grandaughter (age 5)to look at the main page and see if she can tell me where to put the number from the money? I can bet she would not be wrong! next time she is here I will ask. probably friday.

I get my 8 year old to enter my bills when I am too busy - He kows how to grade the bills and everything!

She probably can couz…. I showed a few friends and they signed in over the net and they all thought it was easy and a great site…. maybe he just didn't want to take any time to understand or learn… alot easier to just trash it then stay and learn

See what happens when a Vancouver group buys the "Producer" we all grew up with, it goes to "Pot".
Must be that B.C thing affecting there Smoking material I would say.

I worked for an agricultural firm that made farm equiment. From time to time the WP would send a reporter to get a story about something. After a few bad experiences, we decided to give them information sheets so they would keep the facts straight, and even then they managed to screw it up so bad even we couldn't understand it ourselves anymore.

DR- on the good side, it's one of the best places to look for aircraft for sale…

When I first came to this site I had trouble as well, could improvements be made? If you say the answer is no then I would be suprised. Does this site work well? Yes, its solid. Could it be easier for new users? I think there could be some accomidation there. I know this site well and nothing is difficult here but as a new person to the site you have to look through a different pair of glasses. Is the design poor? Certianly not, this site deals with a ton of trafic and does so with ease. Is Rob Perry's criticisim constructive? No, it could have been written as a suggestion not an insult. Does he know what it takes to make a site run? He has no clue. This is just my 2 bits. I think DR has done a great job and I think improvements for newbies are possible.
