well i didn't want to sound selfish but..

while many of you may be mourning and remembering 9/11 this week, think happy thoughts as well for some of us that have a birthday on that dreadful day. :) Peace.

I will be the first to wish you a happy birthday. regardless of the date it falls on. just think positive!! How many people will forget your birthday now?

I'll be the next to wish you happy birthday. Yes, 9/11 will always be a very tragic day, BUT, life goes on. There have been and will be many happy moments for this day that are not related to that tragic event. Move forward, think positive and happy thoughts, and say a prayer for those that suffered two years ago. If you don't, then the terrorists win.

Just as a bit of trivia, some famous people whose birthdays fall on 9/11: Harry Connick Jr. (performer), Virginia Madsen (actress), O. Henry (author), D.H. Lawrence (author), Tom Landry (long time coach of the Dallas Cowboys), Kristy McNichol (actress from "Empty Nest"), Moby (singer), Brian DePalma (Hollywood director/producer). Also, my best friend's neighbour was born on 9/11 (though not famous of course).

well ShrimpNCheerios I always celebrate that day every year from that dreadful day and always will. MY american flag in raised and remains up for 30 days. It is a reminder for everyone the world round that it hit home. Thanx

Happy Bday Shrimp.. it will be a day to remember for all… just think my daughter was born on Dec 21/88 the day Pan AM flight 103 went down in Scotland… every year we remember that to.

Ya my sister was born 24 years ago on Sept 11! It's also sad to hear that John Ritter died that day! He was soooo good at acting! :( One of my favourite actors!
