Referring back to the other message that I posted. I respect what everyone does with their yards. I my self love being outside, therefore I will cut my lawn,& pick my weeds in my flower bed. The downfall of it all is my allergies, they drive me insane some days. I've got seeds & Bulbs growing in my house right now and I am feeling the impact. lol. But when it is all said and done I can grab a lawn chair, sit back and relax, enjoy my yard and hope that no dog takes a pee & or poo in my yard, bees dont take over the garden and that we dont get another snow fall in June like last year…LOL..What a disaster that was.

I'm still waiting for my yard to dry up. There was a pile of snow there this year. My kids had their own construction projects made of snow, and these have just barely melted. There are several trees that screen the sun, and this allows the snow to stay a long time, and later prevents me from growing anything in the yard, hence the gazebo and other projects. It's still a nice space to sit with a coffee in the morning, burn some food on the barbeque, and watch the birds building nests in the spring. My kids all built bird houses and we feed the birds so we have a pretty good avian community around our house.

Dizzy I know just what you mean. The minute the days begin to get longer I'm driven to plant and nurture everything in sight! My home becomes a virtual greenhouse. Moving outdoors is an event in itself! Even now my daffodils are 6 inches high and my Hyasinths are in bud. Even inSaskatchewan!
