2 years to the date

got a hit today that was entered 2 years ago today. this one

Wonder where it's been for the last two years! Hiding in someone's purse or pocket?…..under someone's mattress?……a mizer's wallet?….or just lost for awhile!
Certainly am glad it was found wherever it was hiding. Now it can continue it's life long journey!

What are the chances of that happening, to get a hit exactly 2 years later. Congrats to the hit, antics :)

I believe the chances of getting a hit on the exact same date are 1 in 365 or 1 in 366 during a leap year.

chances of getting a hit on the day are x for chance of getting a hit normally ( cause not all bills get hits )
1 to 365 times x & 1 to 366 times x on a leap year

I took a guess because way back in school there was oods and then something about probability
ex) every time you flip a coin the odds are 50/50 it will be heads but if you get heads 2 or 3 times in a row then the probability is that the next flip will be tails?

I just gave myself a headache!

:) even if you flip a coin 100 times and you get heads each time.. the probability for each flip is still 50%
1 event doesn't change the next event.
50% will eventually come out, but we are talking about a very high finite number of flips.
