Looks like the person was trying to be honest when they entered the bill by thinking, "well, I got the bill back in November, but I forgot to enter it till now."

As for your PT cruiser, how does a vehicle shaped like that handle? Was it a good buy?

I want to drive a PT cruiser. They look cool. Wierd why people backdate.. Maybe they want to be funny, I dont know.

It handles fine, but it expensive for what it is..Bought a limited edition when they first came out and paid full retail, Ouch!!!!!!!

antics

yeah these new styles of vehicles come expensive and then some go down. I dont know about the pt's but the aztecs were 39,000 when I got mine. then when I got rid of it, they had come down to 23,900 for the new models. I liked it but had no room for hauling furniture and had to keep borrowing a vehicle. (as in trade for the day)plus the dog kennels would not all fit into it. i need a dogmobile.

Aztecs aren't pretty, PT cruisers would only look good being either black or red. Cars here rust out anyways unless you get rustproofed every year. If you buy used you cannot be sure of this. My Tempo finally rusted out and the drivers seat came loose, ever drive a rocking chair? For hauling and no nonsense driving a pickup truck is probably best.

I'm a bit of a car nut, so I also just bought a 2003 Chevy Silverado Z71 LT loaded. I use this for my hauling. I also own a 1981 Toyota Celica Sunchaser which I bought new (1 of 25 in Canada.) I also have a 1961 Austin Healey replica (1989 Sebring 5000)and a 1950 Ford Coupe..I have fun deciding what to drive in the summer when all my vehicles are ready to go..

I can't believe my teammate drives a PT Cruiser. I may have to resign.

antics: You have to compare apples to apples. When the Aztek came out the MSRP started around $23,000 but if you add options I think the price could have been around $44,000. Your vehicle must have been fairly well equipped, while the new one was probably the base model.

The thing with the PT Cruisers was that there was initially high demand and if you wanted one you had to pay the MSRP or maybe even more, there was no discount.

When my mom's Van came out in 1998, she bought it for 30,000 dollars, now she's trying to sell it and can barely get 13,000 dollars.
That's why you don't buy New cars. Experts say the car loses at least 5,000 dollars as soon as you drive it off the lot.

BDKINGSTON

You got it right kayfbee..I had to go to Regina to purchase ours and had to pay full MSRP..Now I understand you can get some okay deals..By the way ours is red..

kayfbee

Red is alright, I really disliked the original silver colour.

Since you just purchased a Silverado I'll stay.

I did not really care a whole lot for the Aztec. It was my husband (estranged) who really liked it. He has it now. I traded him for the 94 Transport. He gets the payments too! ha ha. and the kids. ha ha
i got the dogs. ha ha ha ha
they are housebroken, dont require expensive shoes clothes skate boards etc. the one does like tobogganing though. but then again the kids did not shed……………

Nah. I ALWAYS buy new. Learned my lesson many years ago.

Order it, get exactly what you want, and you're not buying someone else's problems.

I remember back in 92, waiting 28 long days for my Pathfinder. We wanted Riveria Blue and it had to be special ordered. Had 22 km. No one was allowed to smoke or eat in it. (my rules and I smoke) Then 9 months later my daughter became ill and we had to sell the pathfinder. I still see it every now and then (can tell by a tiny mark on the drivers side) Someday I will buy new again, and pay cash with all marked bills!!!

BDKINGSTON

Reguardless of what the experts say I lost about 50% on my almost 8 year old 95 Silverado Z71 that had only 103,000 kms on it but it was in superiour condition and I sold it to a co-worker who knows how well I look after my vehicles..

pappahunt

Same as boats, just a big hole in the water you keep pouring money into!! But weather it's cars, boats, or houses at least the money will be marked from now on!!!LOL
