DR's hits... (was re: multiple hits)

POOGA: Thanks. It's pretty neat to see a bill show up like that after such a long time. Ya, I suspect it was a marked bill, as I mark 98% of the bills that I enter into the system.

We need some other people to start catching up to me on hits… I don't want anyone thinking I'm rigging the system. :) Have you been marking all of the 1300+ bills you've entered? If so, I'm not quite sure why you don't have way more hits. Though I found an increase in hits once I started writing "Track this bill online at www.cdn-money.com" rather than just the URL.

You bet! Every one of them! Beginning to wonder though. Do you do it on both sides or just the front or back?

Sounds like I might have to start adding that as well. Like S-E said, it's discouraging!

Ya, I write the complete URL only in big letters at the top of the bill on the back. On the front at the top of the bill is where I write: Track this bill… The problem with just the URL is that people don't know what the site is about, so they forget about it. But with the track comment, it connects the fact that the URL is connected to that particular bill. Does that make sense? Anyway, the point is, I had increased hits once I started writing that.

Heh, perhaps, but did you check the time on that hit? 510 days. It took 510 days to collect that hit… jeez. Anyway, I'm convinced that changing what I wrote on the bill made a huge difference.
