Frustrating hit

I spent it on the plane going down to the DR. Looks like someone coming back to Saskatoon got it on the flight back!

Rather than a boomerang, I would consider it an echo, or maybe rebound hit. You know, throw it against something, and it NEARLY comes back to you, but comes back to the same general area.

Getting one of your own bills right back would be a boomerang!

I like that rebound hit term best. Kind of remindes me of when I was a kid and first discovered superballs. Had this bomb shelter in the apartments on the base we we're at in GERMANY. We use to go down there with hockey sticks and a superball and hit the ball as hard as we could!! Extreme dodgeball!!!!
