I got a hit in Ontario today and normally I would be very happy about that!!…BUT…GRRRRRRRRRRRR

typical EASTERN arrogance for anything NIH (Not Invented Here). time to make a foray into their forums with a scorched earth policy. the combined IQ of the trackers on that site ain't a three digit number.
Yup….Just about time to pay that site a visit again and remind everyone….it's all about tracking….not the site you're on…..but if they wish to continue……I got a BIG BLACK JIFFY MARKER that will obliterate anything they put on a note….but that's just my suggestion.

so how hard would it be to find out the person in question if they did indeed enter it at that site? just enter in the number. I know you would not know what it is but it is in our system. we just cannot see the whole number. hmmm and here i sit with a ww bill in front of me. written on in pen. can barely see it. whatever should I do with it. I was just on my way to their site but maybe not. not yet anyhow.

antics to not enter any trackers bill on this site or any other is wrong just plain wrong. do un to others as you would like to have done unto you.
Antics…even though you may not want to…and I wouldn't blame you if you didn't….but I do think it would be in all trackers interest if you did enter it….one apple can spoil a barrel….but if you get the bad apple out quickly…you save a whole barrel…right?
Well I did have a look at their site….and read how they were gloating over the fact that they had "hijacked" my bill to their site.
There was one response to that asking them how they could do such a thing…
I HAVE ALWAYS respected their site, Never Tampered with their markings to mark the CMT URL over top of theirs.
I have Gone to their site Several times to give hits to Their trackers when I came across bills from their site
Being a tracker I thought they would appreciate getting a hit, just as I would appreciate any hit that I may recieve regardless of who found it or from what site they belonged to.
Recently……. I have come across 3 of their bills from their site but I've been fairly busy and never got around to going to give them their hits …..GEEEEEE hmmmmm after todays little episode Im hard pressed to decide as to what to do about that..LOL ya right!!

I'm terribly sorry, Sweetie. I'm originally from Ontario, but I would never do anything that rude. Is there an Administrator on that site that can sort things out?
Don't let the misguided comments/actions ruin your view of the other sites. Not all WW members act that way. There are some of us that preach that all bills (no matter what site is on the bill) be treated with respect and given the hit it deserves. Refusing to give a WW bill a hit because of this would also be wrong and two wrongs don't make a right. The individual that made the comment has been told that what he/she did was wrong. Go back and read the forum again.

As I have said I havent in the past tampered with your other site's bill markings Nor Do I in the future Plan on doing that.. That would be just petty and ridiculous
For Canadianii to have tampered with my markings to put his own from that site diminishes the look of the bill to the point that should it come into bank tellers hands that would be the first bill they would likely destroy..ruining his chance of a hit and mine..
far better that he use the serial numbers on a previously marked bill from another site (such as CMT) and pray for a stealth hit from his site than for him to destroy our markings for his own markings
Strangely enough until I became a tracker I dont ever recall coming into contact with tracker bills from ANY site but now that I am tracking…I find them all the time both from this site and the other one & when I do find them I do give the hits out no matter whose site its from- to date I have given 238 hits to CMT members and several to the other site -annonymously!!
I still plan on tracking here & respecting the other sites.
Check the bill again.. the tracker has appologized and has righted his wrong..Good to see people learn and grow…
Yes I did notice that.. still the bill probably looks quite mucked up now, however Iam glad he did put back the site url
though I wont hold out much hope for that bill staying in good condition or circulation for long.
The good thing is that he has seen the error in his ways and it will not happen again…
samson; I just read the WW forum and your comments there and I must say that the opinion of that user(we all know who it is!) is not shared by the majority of Saskatchewan users. We (the majority) do enter every bill that we receive at the site marked on the bills.
It's obvious that the bulk of your bills move East. I have only had 199 hits East of Saskatchewan out of the 1918 hits that I have so the majority of my bills stay in Saskatchewan or travel West. If we see any of your bills chances are that they will be entered here and any other site that they are marked with.
This is one WW user who very much appreciates all the hits I have gotten from CMT users. I registered at this site to track any CMT bills that I find and I have found a lot!
Most of the regular users at WW would not think of doing what Canadianii did so you really shouldn't judge everyone because of the action of one person. We became aware of Canadianii's action because he made a post about it but in the event any WW user causes problems in the future, I think it would be a good idea for a CMT user to post about it on the WW forums–communication is always the best way to resolve any problems.
I too have been a supporter of both sites and have always advocated treating each others bills like they were our own. In fact I even put it in my profile asking people to stop marking more than one website on the bills. I know this is even more extreme when you're talking about real defacement and should not be tollerated.
I may not enter many bills here compared to WW, but I always enter a CMT bill if I find one.

I think that there are "bad apples" on each tracker site. As a proud bill tracker, I enter bills whatever site is marked on it and send it on the way the way that I got it. I don't care what other people do with them, because two wrongs does not make a right. Isn't that the right spirit?

You can take my WW bills east anytime, Sarge–I could use more hits from eastern Canada.
Now, whatever shall I do with the CMT bill I got at the bank yesterday? Oh, wait, I've already entered it.
