hits vs entered bills

this has been a cool week… i've run out of bills to enter… but I see I'm finally gettin hits and with names from weyburn… 3 more now have names here… maybe it did help all the explaining I did as I spent them… cause I went from 7 hits up to 11 hits now since no more bills… Yes… I was so worried I'd drop down low this week but my bills seem to be moving… now I'll have to set a date here for that mini meet… lol

I would recommend that you not explain the site to the people who receive your bills, as that is pretty much on the same level as giving it to your friends and asking them to enter the bill. A hit is a hit regardless of whther the user registered or not. Remember that we want to mimic natural circulation as much as possible and if everyone tells everyone else about it, all that happens is that a bill is hit over and over each time it is spent and hits are no longer the novelty that it is right now.

When someone points it out, I always play dumb and saying something along the lines "Oh, ya, I meant to check that out but forgot"… with this method I get a smaller number of hits but the hits I do get haven't been from people forced or coerced or lead in that direction, if you get what I mean.

And the other problem about explaining what the site is about is that now everytime you spend a bill at that place, that user is going to enter it and that becomes known as hit friendly location, that is a location that will give you a hit everytime you spend a bill there. And when that happens, to keep things fair to everyone, any hits from that user will be removed from your hit count.

ok won't explain it to people anymore… but the hits are coming since I havn't been spending or entering… one is going around a kitchen I seen by todays hit… the first person that got it as change never entered a name but I see the second to catch it in the same place did enter his name… never expected a hit off that bill even as the town is maybe 150 people and the dinner/grocery store is the size of a McDonald's Restaurant… think the lady was happy to get us out fast with arguing/sick boys… some small places do amaze a person… :)
