i even looked that one up in the "urban dictionary" (my source for all things and phrases newfangled… i'd link it here but it gets pretty graphic…). it didn't have an entry that made sense in that context. maybe it truly IS "killer bees" they were shopping for…

the person could have been talking about drugs. "bees" could refer to the picture on an ecstacy pill.

and how would we know about XTC?, is there something that you would like to share???

I work with a bunch of teen-agers, so I catch alot of the current slang.
