I just got a hit today from Anonymous.
It had me wondering. What is the usual amount of hits from actual users and anonymous people. I always thought that fellow users would be most likely to give a hit, but it looks like random people seem to give more hits than fellow users. There is nothing wrong with that. I am just surprised that this would happen. People would take the time to enter notes without being a member here. What does everybody else's hits look like?
There are, compared with the general population, only a very few regular users (I would think in the neighborhood of 1:1,000,000). That's a million people who could hit that note, compared with one user who is likely to enter it.
I am still just surprised that people would just enter it, for something they would most likely know nothing of. Mind you to, I have heard of people replying to notes in bottles that were tossed in the ocean. Also notes on/in balloons too. It just is more than a person would think in my books
I do believe more than 50% of my hits are anonymous.
