the person on our site who can answer that question best is rudyk. direct the question to him he will have a better opinion then most.
thanks for the intro, BC!
my charleton guide to banknotes is a year out of date but it says that your 1937 $100 is a Gordon-Towers signature (the more common one) and its value, depending on condition is:
$125(VG)
$140(F)
$175(VF)
$250(EF)
$475(AU)
$800(Unc)
note that the prices are always subject to finding someone who will BUY it. :) as well… many "collector" notes have been pressed or otherwise spiffed up to be made to look better – examine it under magnification to see its true condition and then use this guide to assess it. your note is a good one to hang onto… congrats!
I have the 2007 Charleton guide and the prices are just a little higher
$125(VG)
$150(F)
$190(VF)
$275(EF)
$500(AU)
$950(UNC)
You definitely have a nice note.
