I have an older five. It looks to be in very good condition, still crunchy. : ) Someone said something to me about a red line, and it being worth money. True or False?
I cannot enter the bill, since it was made in 1979, and the earliest I can enter is 1986. Serial # 3012065***8
No letters, just numbers.
It depends where the red line is on the bill.
I was looking at the BOC's website, they had some pictures of a 1972 note and might have thought the red line the girl was talking about was the red/blue serial that used to be on the front. I sorta see a red line at the bottom on the back by the serial.
It's a Lawson-Bouey; in EF book value about $9-10.
