I was showing my boss this site and also canadian paper money site.(don't think i got him hooked on marking bills though) He asked about a $3 dollar bill that was issued before ww1. Anybody have any info on this bill or where it can be seen if on any money sites. CPM does not show any $3 bill but does have .25 cent bills. Just for curiosity sake, if anyone knows something about these, a reply would be greatly appreciated. Thanks all
not canadian, but my uncle does have a $3.00 bill, but its from the bahamas… or bohemian (sorry about the spelling)
I seem to recall hearing about that but I think it was the US that had a $3 bill! Might try a US paper money site search or wheres george!
i have several from the bahamas… thats the only place i know of that has them
Cook Islands in the 1980s and 1990s before New Zealand started sharing its currency with them again.
My dad used to say something about
"phoney as a three dollar bill".
That's all 21 has to say about that.
I know we used to have a four dollar bill about a hundred years ago, but I've never heard of a three.
