The banks are going to begin silently pulling the 2013 Series $10 notes from circulation. Headed to BOC to be destroyed.
This is the one with Sir John A. McDonald on the obverse & The Canadian train on the reverse.
For you serious collectors out there, if you get/have any that are in good shape, you may want to hold on to them.
I think you meant 2013 series, small typo.
I had been noticing less and less $10 2013 series notes in my RBC withdrawals. I got 6 in a batch of 150 notes yesterday, which is incredibly high for today. Lots of times when I get $1500 of $10s I don't even get a single 2013 series note. Even the 150 Canada 2017 series are hard to come by nowadays.
I have about 2-3 uncirculated 2013 series notes, which are okay.

Yes, I have started withdrawing $10 notes instead of my usual $5 notes and am indeed noticing less and less of the 2013 Series.
I shall continue to withdraw $10 notes from the Atm in hopes of finding some from the folks who fill the machines (Brinks/Guardaworld/G4S etc). I dont think that are yet to be pulling but we shall see.
