Counterfeit bill

Got a fake $20 from my change today in Toronto… the bill was quite good as well. The colouring was very good and honestly looked real, I barely glanced at it before I put it in my wallet. Didn't notice at all until I got home 😢

How did you discover it was fake? What is the prefix?

I glanced at it, and it was obvious it was fake. It took me about two seconds to come to that conclusion though, which meant it's a pretty good fake bill.

The prefix is FIT, which is a real prefix for a 2012 $20. Some fakes have completely bogus prefixes.
