Does Anyone have any Idea where to look to find values on these bills or does anyone know already?
The $1 bills are 1973 Replacement notes with the following
serial numbers EAX and are 2000 numbers apart
Serial numbers BAX and are 2500 numbers apart
These are in pairs and are uncut.
The $2 Bills are 1986 replacement notes with the following.
Serial numbers EBX and are 2000 numbers apart
Serial numbers BBX and are 2500 numbers apart
These are also in pairs and uncut
All 4 sets are in Mint Condition
Please let me know if anyone can help me out on this.
Thanks
rudyk, can you help him out on this one?
rowdy, are you just looking for values, or are you selling as well?
i can TRY… i didn't respond because there IS no listing in the guides for uncut pairs. the prices for uncut notes are only for sheets. the best place to discover prices would be to search on ebay for current and completed auctions. failing that, a trip or call to a favourite coin shop would do it or visit a local show and bourse. i have book prices for the singles, which may or may not reflect what a collector might pay for an uncut sheet.
for the ones… the EAX (crow-bouey) are $17 each and the BAX are $15 for unc condition. (lawson-bouey are WAY more… let me know if you have them… please include your home address, where you normally keep the bills and when you're likely to be out… :) ).
the twos… all are between $11 and 15 each (Unc)… depending on the variation.
all nice bills, but likely not all that rare. i DO, however, encourage you to not take my word for it and get a professional appraisal – no reputable dealer will cheat you – to that end… look on ebay!
hope this helps!
Thanks for the help Pooga & Rudyk. Everyone on here that I was reading replys from on other peoples messages seem to know what they were talking about so I assumed someone must know a good answer. I appreciate your help and I guess my best bet is to try an actual dealer.
P.S. Rudyk….I am sorry but someone is always home and they are kept put away in a good spot. (Not that I know if they are the Lawson bills because I havent looked before replying.) But nice try :)
Thanks Again
