I have a 1986 five the has two different prefixes. I think it should be GPY, but the other one reads CPY. Looking at the bill closer I think that maybe one of those little green security dots may have been over the bottom part of the "G" now making it look like a "C". Any thoughts or comments?
Maybe the security dot.. Ill buy it from you if you dont want it, name a price..
Well you could always remove the dot to know for sure - if your brave enough or I'd just inspect through a very bright light
I would have to agree with the suggestion, about taking off the dot. If you really want to know if it's a dot, check out the bill under a BLACK FLOURESCENT LIGHT. If it glows you know it's one of the dots. If it doesn't then you have a mistake bill. If I were you I'd keep it if it was!
I suspect there WAS a dot there. It's no longer there now.
