Now you got me wondering what percentage of our users can claim Ukrainian heritage.

No cultural slurs intended, but most Ukes are part Jewish and part Scottish. We tend to be VERY tight with our money! So tracking each bill as it goes thru our hands just comes naturally!

My wife's family is Ukrainian. Quite a melting pot in history, the Ukraine. Slavic but what a genetic mix. Mongrels are better than purebreds they say.

Blonde Ukrainians have some royal blood. Comes from the Varangians (Swedish vikings) that established a royal lineage in Kiev 1100 years ago. Darker Ukrainians have a lot of Mongol genes, dating back to Genghis Khan and the Golden Horde about 700 years ago. Sarge probably knows the history better than I do.

But Ukes in North America are probably genetically superior. After all, we're the ones decended from the the adventuresome, brave, intelligent ones who emigrated from Ukraine over the last 125 years. The ones left behind are a strange lot. 75 years of Communism probably didn't help!
