Hello, I have a question for you folks. I have entered a few bills now (3 I think) that I have gotten marked (haven't marked any yet as I don't use cash that often). Two were hits (the third with a stamp wasn't a hit, which makes me wonder……) Anyhow, in my profile, it shows up that I have no bills entered, and no hits. Why am I not getting credit for these? I'm logged in when I enter them…..or do I only get credit if I originally enter them, or they are hits after I enter them?
Also, am I the only one that can't view the 'view enteries' page? I keep getting an 'error in page' error, and it won't display.
(If at all possible, could someone with answers mail me (I think that's possible here isn't it? - sorry, still learning), as I don't log in here often enough to catch the responses….only when I get a bill……tho I'm considering sneaking a few $$ for a stamp so I can become a complete lunatic. ;)
Thanx very much.
Welcome to the site! The answers to most of your questions can be found in the FAQ and RULES in the help section. I don't know about the 'view entries' page. When I use it, nothing happens. I think it's because I just have a dialup modem (for now) and it's too slow.
A stamp is a good idea, just because it speeds up the whole process. They are cheap- about 10 bucks to 30 bucks for a deluxe model. The first 10,000 bills I did with a 10.00 stamp and it's good for another million at least…
Anyhow, in my profile, it shows up that I have no bills entered, and no hits. Why am I not getting credit for these? I'm logged in when I enter them.....or do I only get credit if I *originally* enter them, or they are hits *after* I enter them?
Correct on the last count. The hit goes to the person(s) who have already entered the bill. Now if someone else enters that same bill, you will get a hit.
> Two were hits (the third with a stamp wasn't a hit, which makes me wonder......)
Entering bills that produce hits don't show up as bills entered because they have already been entered to the database. Bills entered really means origiinal (or unique) bills entered. As for that 3rd bill, the originator may have misentered the serial number, but in that case it should have shown up as a unique bill.
>Also, am I the only one that can't view the 'view enteries' page? I keep getting an 'error in page' error, and it won't display.
Be sure your profile (user setup) allows viewing bills. Otherwise that question has to go to the webmaster, dr.
What was the type of stamp on that third bill? I you describe the colour, message, stamp/pen writing, maybe DR could fix it so someone will be able to get credit for the bill.
I don't know…it was a bill my husband had pass thru his till at work one day…..I never actually saw it myself.
