Canada's hot spot

I'm living in Canada's hotspot and this is my idea of Winter! We usually have temperatures of around 40 degrees in the summer, and down to -20 or -30 in the winter. This year our lowest has been -7! Today (Dec. 9th) it is +6. I love it!! How's the weather in Alberta?
