I was talking to a clerk in my bank about STAMPED or MARKED money, and she said that they only pull the money out of circulation if they have a surplus of that denomination on hand (which she said is very seldom) and the banks just keep them moving. She did mention that she see's a lot of stamped money go through. So keep on stamping and tracking.
