any where's george?
user found dumping marked bills into a bank will have their where's george?account
terminated immediately without warning or question.

I am going south on a holiday and as a good tracker have marked my US funds. I found this warning on their site harsh but to the point. Maybe Americans are not as understanding as Canadians. All my where george bills are going out stealth as do not want to cause myself any grief at the border or on my holiday… but it is all entered.
In Canada I only carry marked money 99% of the time so the first time I made a large purchase and paid cash and the site admin. receieved a complaint re the site … so by their rule I would be terminated? Well this site would lose many top members if we had such a rule as many of us pay for large purchases in marked cash.

By dumping, do they mean large amounts of marked bills? Because their Q&A section discourages it (or at least it used to). I only had one person give me grief when I spent marked money in Las Vegas last May.

I won't mark any American money. I have had problems in the US. Last winter I had some marked US $5.00 and in 3 different places they refused to accept them. I'm not sure if they can do that legally, but when you are standing there and they refuse your money, not much you can do.

I still enter them at Where's George, but they go out unmarked.

I believe dumping is depositing money and then withdrawing new money to mark, or exchanging you money at a retailer with out making a purchase. No honest spending of money to puchase a product or service could be considered dumping… My opinion for what it is worth..
