yup those were the days a kid could go to the movies for 25 cents and that included popcorn and a drink. I have thought many times of the old westerns we saw as kids and the stars who we looked up too. many (almost all) are now dead and gone but they will live on forever in the movies.
Thanks pooga for once more opening the door to our past childhood days. To those who do not remember the 50's or 60's they were a time when movies were made for the whole family and James Bond movies were known as racy showing a bare nipple for 3 seconds. It is too bad that morales have changed so much and that the youth of today are exposed to open sexual acts and nudity so young. I know they are gone and that the past was of a milder time when the drinking age was 21 and what we see on tv now would have never been tolorated. I think we did leave the GOOD TIMES behind.
I too, thank you for that site. It brought back a lot of good memories of movies I have seen, and some I would love to watch again.
