I pulled a bunch of money from the bank and requested in smaller bills (mostly 5s) today and the teller asked why I requested mostly 5s. Has anyone else ever been asked questions from tellers? furthermore what did you say to them? I mean, I think it's really none of their business. Thoughts?
change for a flea market, garage sale etc.
I just tell them that the 5s burn better…
now thats and even better reply.
I've only been questioned on the deposits sometimes!
Maybe they were just curious? I was asked once by an Affinity teller, and I told her that I just liked paying for things in $5 increments. She seemed fine with it!
I tell them it's none of their business, because it's absolutely not.
or if you are a guy, tell them you put them into hookers panties. lol
Lmao. I think thats exotic dancers panties. But what do I know ;)…..
Anyways, I think that banks and businesses have to report large tranactions,(over a certain $ amount) because of crime and terrorists. That might not be the case here as the teller was just curious as they most likely don't get that request ever
I still don't think it's anyone's business. If I make a $10,000,000 withdrawal, it's none of the bank's business what the hellI need it for.
Actually, you can thank the government for it, but I not sure how much they check the transactions
