During the last episode, Racers were in Saskatoon Sk and one of the tasks was to go to the Great West Brewing Company and search through a crate of beer bottle caps to find a number of "old style" decorated caps.
When they were done, the "beer master" would hand them their next clue.

Who was that "brew master"?

By chance, was it POOGA??

Either way, Great free publicity for the Company.

I do have to admit to seeing the show. And no, sadly. It wasn't Pooga. I was hoping to see him.

It was good publicity for the company in my books too and an amazing story behind the company

I am originally from Saskatoon and remember the big deal it was when the plant was purchased by employees. Everybody in Saskatoon got behind them and bought their beer, helped that it was pretty good beer at that. Glad to see it running stronger after 25 years, and congrats to all the people with balls to dive in head first and challenge the big boys of the brewing industry.

BANKCOLLECTOR

I remember when the big boys owned it and dropped the ball by selling it to the staff that use to run the place. The sixteen that took over ownership only had to carry on what they had done for years MAKE BEER. Have they made good on what they set out to do YES. Now how about a promotion for the people in Saskatoon who stood behind the beer… a free key chain with the purchase of a case or maybe a coin bank made like the first cans that came off the line so many years ago? I vote for the banks as they will be in every man cave in the city. When the second plant in the city was closed they sure made sure nobody was going to run it. Hard to believe we use to have two beer factories in our city.
