well guys, we gotta start getting serious about this. the folks up in regina's evil twin :) are WAY ahead of us with these meetings and stuff. we need to start emulating them! i'm sure that if we line up to pay just right we can generate a passel of hits. or i'll pay you for your meal… you pay me for mine! that's a normal flow of money… no???… [shrug] …just a thought…
Just remember our basic rule…
People with $100 bills pay first, and in decending order to $5 bills last.
That way we pick up more unmarked bills, and leave a passel of marked ones in the till!
Yep, that's how we've been doing it, bigger bills pay first. And it has been a few months since our last meeting here. I wasn't left in charge of setting up the next meet, but we'd better get moving on this. After all, Christmas is just around the corner. Of our first 4 meets, 2 have been in the east end (Brewster's on Vic and Moxie's) and 2 downtown (Copper Kettle on Scarth and the Free House). I think some folks had suggested something on South Albert for our next meet, but any suggestion is welcome.
If its south I might be able to make it with pheonix as well
I work downtown, but if the meeting is on the weekend, it doesn't matter where it's held. Have bus pass, will travel. (Evenings are OK, too.)
