The call centre that is being set up in the old Wal-Mart on 8th Street has released some details. There are eight categories of jobs listed for Saskatoon, and they will be needing approximately 300 employees. Below is the info that I received. I understand that there is a 6 week training period, and that they want to be in operation by the end of November.
Minacs is a company that manages call centres for the computer industry. They are opening a call centre here in Saskatoon providing telephone support for Mac users in North America. They are looking for a large number of full-time Technical Customer Service Representatives to staff this centre.
Here is the information regarding this position:
Their hourly rate of pay for the Technical Customer Service Representative Position is $10.30 during training, $10.60 after training, and $11 after 3 months. In the first year after that there are 6 month and 12 month reviews where performance would dictate the amount of the increase. After that annual reviews are given.
